Who are we but strolling players,
Wand'ring through the long ago
Joys and sadness, hopes and longing,
Keep us traveling onward though,
The laughter and applause of others
Who view the passing cavalcade
Leaves echoes hovering some far summer
Floating round a woodland glade
'Twas but a tale for your amusement
Like my small unworthy rhyme
Gone, alas, into those realms,
The land of Once Upon A Time

Victoria

We arrived in Victoria after 6 wonderful days in Tofino, excited to experience a more touristy side of our Honeymoon.

The view from our hotel room window at The Empress

and a little friend who hung out with us for most of the day!

Our hotel, The Empress.

We did a lot of sight seeing for having only three days in a city.

We walked around the warf and saw most of the native american art, as well as the capital building and the many shops and restaurants in the area.

Victoria is known as a flower city, very famous for their flora and fauna.

We took a carriage ride and got to see many of the historic homes and parks.

Cricket!

One day we went shopping and ran into China town!

funny

The food in Victoria was really great, but their sushi did not compare to Tough City Sushi.

What a beautiful city though!  One of my favorites for sure!
