Who are we but strolling players,
Wand'ring through the long ago
Joys and sadness, hopes and longing,
Keep us traveling onward though,
The laughter and applause of others
Who view the passing cavalcade
Leaves echoes hovering some far summer
Floating round a woodland glade
'Twas but a tale for your amusement
Like my small unworthy rhyme
Gone, alas, into those realms,
The land of Once Upon A Time

Tea at the Empress

A huge tradition in Victoria is to have tea at the Empress, where we were staying.  We semi dressed up for the occasion, thinking it appropriate, but once we arrived we saw people in cut off jeans, tank tops, work out clothes, etc.  We were some of the more overdressed people there.

It was everything I remember it being from when I came in 9th grade, and I loved the neapolitan ice cream inspired walls!

The food was yummy, and a nice, yet expensive treat for us on one of our last days on our honey moon. We headed home soon after this and were glad to be back after a fun and relaxing trip!
